WSCC stands for Windows System Control Center and is a centralized management solution that allows installing, updating, organizing and running a large variety of system maintenance, optimization and tweaking tools. It allows managing the tools offered by some popular and acknowledged suites: Windows Sysinternals Suite, Nirsoft Utilities, as well as the default Windows’ utilities and services management tools.
The Windows Sysinternals Suite contains powerful system management tools like Autoruns, which is one of the most comprehensive startup management utilities that one can find, or the handy Process Explorer, a truly effective task management program. Nirsoft utilities are lightweight yet very handy and popular tools created to put you in control over Windows aspects that would be otherwise hard to access and to tweak. WSCC lets you easily manage the utilities of these two effective suites. What I really like about WSCC is the fact that it already includes, by itself, many of the utilities that it’s supposed to manage. I was expecting it to be only a control panel for installing, updating and starting these tools, but to my pleasant surprise, it already includes most of them. The ones it doesn’t include can be easily and quickly installed just by pressing the “Install” button. Furthermore, using WSCC is really simple. It categorizes the utilities by their type, letting you easily find the ones you need. Its interface is intuitive and neat. more
